In short
Grade Calculator does not collect personal data from you. No account is required, it shows no ads, and it uses no third-party analytics or tracking tools. The courses and grades you enter are stored only on your device.
Data we collect
The app does not collect, transmit or sell your name, email address, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or any similar personal information.
Data stored on your device
Course names, terms, credits, grades, weights, your custom grade scale and your preferences (theme, language) are stored only on your device. This data is never sent to our servers. When you uninstall the app, this data is removed from your device.
Internet connection
The app works without an internet connection. It does not need the internet to send your data anywhere.
PDF export and sharing
If you choose to create and share a grade report PDF, the file is passed through your device's share sheet to the app or person you choose. This is entirely under your control; we never see or store the file. PDFs created with the app have no official validity.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party service for advertising, analytics, crash reporting or user tracking. The app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play) may process data under their own privacy policies when you download the app; this is outside our control.
Children's privacy
Because the app collects no personal data, it does not collect data from children either.
Security
Because your data stays on your device, the security of your device (screen lock, backup settings, etc.) determines the security of your data. Device backup services (iCloud, Google backup) may back up your data according to your own settings.
Changes
If this policy is updated, the new version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will change.
